ABOUT ACT

Who we are

Anugraha Charitable Trust established in 2018 but registered in 2021 is a non-governmental social organization which brings hope to the vulnerable communities in the society and its head office is located at Hubballi, Karnataka. Our Founder/President with 4 local board members run this organisation.

What we do

ACT closely works with the deprived communities and empowers the socially marginalized by providing them livelihood services, and imparting skills leading to employment, health and education facilities. ACT also focuses on health and education, urban governance, child rights, human rights, young girls’ education, skill development, financial inclusion, rehabilitation and resettlement and other community development initiatives. Our overall goal is to empower the people from poor and marginalised communities, leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods.

Following a lifecycle approach, ACT works intensively through focused welfare projects in areas like – Education, Elderly care, Child care, Healthcare, Environment, Skills training and Livelihood for Youth, and Community engagement through women empowerment. ACT engages organizations, corporates and individuals from India and globally as partners and supporters to improve the lives of the underprivileged communities.

Anugraha Team

FOUNDER

Our Founder/President is a values-based passionate leader with more than 6 years of experience in national development, particularly as it pertains to child rights, excluded communities and women....
Prior to Starting Anugraha Charitable Trust (ACT), he was volunteering with some children homes and a few senior citizen homes. He has also led major emergency responses in the South India region, reaching many of affected children and women during many attacks or natural disasters. His main motto is to uplift the communities facing difficulties, he loves to travel, play guitar, watch cricket and have fun with children.

SECRETARY

The secretary of ACT is an active channel for communication between the board, management, and members (if any), by giving proper notice of any meetings and timely distribution of ...materials such as agendas and meeting minutes. He is also responsible for scheduling board meetings and will ensure an adequate number of meetings are held per year. The secretary is also charged with recording minutes of meetings. Minutes are an important organizational document and provide a memorialized chronology of key information such as board actions, elections of officers or directors, and certain reports from committees and staff. As the custodian of the organization’s records, the secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and meeting legal requirements, such as annual filing deadlines. Each board should carefully consider how the secretary can best serve their organization. Apart from this he is a man full of fun and is working in a private company and he loves to help our trust voluntarily as a secretary.

Rajarathnam

TREASURER

The Treasure is responsible for coordinating and tracking all in-country revenue and expenditures, managing financial reporting relationships between partners, and ensuring financial accountability and ...transparency through close monitoring and auditing of accounts. He is a talented young man with all sorts of financial experience and plays a key role in our organization. He is working at a private company and whenever he is free he loves to come and volunteer with our organization.
